Yo,

This kid hasn't been blogging lately due to a laxidasical caffine deficiency brought on by an attempt to curb dependency through limited use. First, of all fuck all of that. Second, I'm moving my blog to blogger (http://chromeeyes.blogspot.com) - I'm tired of the limited functionality that livejournal provides, but will miss the connectivity that it allows. I'll post there today, once I fix it so it doesn't frame this livejounal page anymore. Dig? I sure the hell do.

Intensely,
Erasmus

Mary part 1 Feb. 17th, 2004 @ 04:15 pm
Yeah, so I'm piecing together a piece of short fiction here - the ideas are rough and the prose is rough, but I'm trying to piece it and here's the start. I really don't want feedback on this one until it's over, but if you feel the need I'll read your emails, comments or wires and then feed them back to you.

That's about it,
Erasmus

Mary, in her former life a carouser, a banker, a respcetable citizen and now a dealer. She deals in pharmacy, legitimate, no. Neccesary yes. Why. Mary needs to sell so she can feed her habit of supressing the pain. Her unsteady walk and her modest clothing used to be cover. This cover no longer suffices because of her contemporaries. Her contemporaries have caught on to the thread of how she affords to feed her pain and now to walk to sell the pharmacy in her purse.

Once, back a couple of years ago her dealer stiffed her on $500 dollars worth paid ahead of time in full. She and her cronies got after him and broke him badly. George now walks with a limp and will forever on account of his prosthetic foot, his old one too mangled by the buick to piece together inside. George underestimated his courier, now she gets a better cut and a better cut or he'll get the better cut. George hadn't made it his buisness to be intimidated by associates, but this new stream of associates are not to be triffled with. These new associates don't fear death, prison, or mutilation. The key here is beauty - Mary and her kind are past that childishness.
